The truth behind our Pitbull Douglas |
Hi - My name is Douglas Dante Pounds, or Dougie, or duggle-buggle, or baby bear, or dug-a-bug... I have so many names!! I'm a 3 1/2 y.o Staffordshire/Bulldog mix...actually, I'm almost 4 but, who's counting. I live with my Daddy, Andre, & my Mommy, Amy in Darien, CT. My Mommy & Daddy rescued me from those mean people who put me on the streets of Harlem 3 years ago, and I'm thankful every day!! I first went to an AMAZING place called "Adopt-a-Dog" in New Castle, NY for a few months. They rescued me first... and they were a great foster family. I'm SOO grateful to them from taking from that big city shelter. I got to make lots of friends for a few months. Then I met my new parents in December 04' - it was love at first sight!! And it's been great ever since. I spend most of my days at my Nanna & Pop's house while mommy & Daddy work . I LOVE playing in the yard, going for rides, going for walks at the beach, playing with with Cousin, Ella ( she's also a terrier), and of course my babies - I LOVE my babies, I bring them EVERYWHERE I go!!! I gotta say, I'm a very spoiled little boy but, thats OK - we have fun doing it!
One day soon, we're going to be adding to our family, and I'm going to have a brother or sister dog, & I can't wait! We're going to be best buds!!
